Network Architecture
ConnectNet’s network architecture has been designed to ensure that there is no single point of failure anywhere in the system. The various products are developed to stringent quality standards ensuring down-time is kept to an absolute minimum. A Call-centre is provided allowing our trained staff to remotely diagnose and rectify problems. Onsite support is also provided where required.
Products are continuously enhanced and developed in conjunction with customer requirements and input. Highly skilled and experienced experts, in-house and from the industry are available to attend to specific queries and new product development.

ConnectNet has multiple Vodacom and MTN private Access Point Names (APN’s) connecting to 2 separate hosting facilities at MTN Business allowing ConnectNet to provide a reliable and secure service to its customers.
The main functions of the ConnectNet servers is to maintain connectivity with the wireless devices. All incoming calls are relayed via Routers to the correct end destination. All our devices are polled regularly to determine link status and signal quality.
From our hosting facilities, we are able to route the data traffic to a multitude of end destination networks including the Saponet X.25, Frame Relay an IP or Internet networks. ConnectNet Boasts Automatic failover to the Servers, and not only to the GSM networks, in the event of failure thus ensuring no single point of failure.
